At the Westbay Festival, there will be a number of workshops held with experienced musicians on the following instruments: flute, whistle, fiddle, banjo, bodhrán and guitar.

The flute workshops will be taken by Michael McGoldrick from Manchester, and Conal O'Grada from Cork, while Grace Kelly from Manchester will be taking the tin whistle workshop.

Dezi Donnelly from Manchester, and Ruadhrai O'Kane from County Derry will be taking the fiddle workshops, and Angelina Carberry (originally from Manchester) will be taking the banjo workshop.

Manchester's bodhrán virtuoso, John Joe Kelly will be taking the bodhrán workshop, and Tim Edey (originally from Kent) will be taking the guitar workshop.
